Update: Dont really know what day it is.

Well I like to do more things then just The Rebel, For example I've been makeing a bunch of joint maps. Meening I am mapping with another person.

Currantly I'm makeing maps with

TheBlahMan......(Mineing_In_A_Cave) CSS
DeathSpecter....(Maybe Makeing Coffee Maybe Makeing Bombs) CSS
Dan.................(Pain_On_The_Train.) CSS
Kalibu..............(Mineing_on_a_Comet) CSS / TF2
Simond.............(de_space_dust) CSS
Tyrtill..............(Mineing_In_The_Mid_Age) DM / CSS / TF2
Vecima............(Valcanic) TF2 / CSS
Daz_Rich..........(Tower_Of_Doom) DM / CSS
Trying to get Daz to finish zrer and 4 corners.

And every now and then helping Ross scot whith his movie thing. HL2

Now not everyone I'm mapping with has as much time as I do, which is why I can joint map with so many at a time.

Anyway, Normally what I do is map for multi player games then fade into mapping for The Rebel and go back to multi player games after a while.

However I have some good / bad news. One of my friends whom I am helping teach hammer was talking to me the other night, and through the conversation he reminded me of an old idea.
Suddenly the old idea ran through my head, then turned around and ran back, then again ran through. And its just bounceing around in their like it drank a few gallons of pure caffien.
At the time I thought of this idea I didnt know hammer as well as I do now. So now, I'm seeing that its actually possible.

And then last night my hands joined the fun and started makeing some drawings.

So, here is the good / bad news.

I'm putting The Rebel officially on hold. I will probably still work on it every now and then but Once the joint maps are finished I am mainly focusing on the old idea.

And I'm sure you all (Or at least 1 of you.) are wandering what this idea could possibley be.
However I'm going to be mean and not tell you, I will tell you that it will be;
1. Twice as fun as The Rebel.
2. Last longer.
3. Take less time to build.
4. Probably have more screen shots and news then The Rebel.
5. Worth it.

And I will admit I'm not 100% sure I can build it in source. So, there is a 10% chance that The Rebel is not on hold.

Dag nabit, Nic! :t3mad: Just when I think that there is a possibility that The Rebel might get finished before they stop making computers that will run the Source engine, you go and do this...I'm gonna hold you to that list, btw. Don't disappoint! :t3biggrin:

Well I have some more good/bad news.

This thing I'm talking about has bounced around in my head so much that its really really cool and so cool that I dont want to do it unless I can do it right.

Meening, I think I could do it without coddeing and models. But it would be 10 times better if there were someone to code and model.

So, Untill My buddy Simond learns how to inport stuff into source and I find a codder this idea cant really fly beond battle areanas. And whats a battle areana without someong fighting in it?

So my currant plan is to finish up all the projects I have going then either work on The Rebel, something ells, or try to learn how to inport models into source.

Edit: Sighs, now I feel like one of those guys who is always changeing his mind and saying a bunch of random stuff to try and get attention. Which btw I really am not. :t3razz:

Re: Update: Dont really know what day it is.

Blender's not made for importing models for source.
There is a plug in though, but some people say it dosen't work.
You guys should try MOD_Tool, its made for source.
or at least you could try to import to> mod tool from blender.
I've never had luck with models in source.
But people do it all the time.

OK here some info. But I don't know how old this stuff is or if it works.
Aperently this user 'Dragonlord' has made a plug in that seems to work?
I got other things to do for now.
