Yes I had trouble with this too. How do you do it in mod_tool?
I can do it in blender just fine.
Where is the UV unwrap/edit thing? And or what is it supposed to be set to?
I keep getting the 'concave edge' thing.

tyrtill noes, but I want to know what the deal is too.
I still have blender install, and I export models from mod_tool to blender all the time. But just static models. So I can make them ase. ;)

if you haven't already tried them, they are excellent tutorials for beginners... you probably already know the first part, but the later parts cover UV mapping and creating textures.
