zrer resserection

zrer resserection

decided the square building has to go but i want it to look like its been demolished (saves redoing cave below)

so that needs somthing to replace it with some sort of snipe tower
with multiple exits.
facying futuristic.

also the bomb site on the roof is a little basic.

got any ideas?
thinking some sort of base camp idea with a pylon?
maybe a zipline down to middle of map
got it a crain you know the vertical ones?
so its a building site
also i know the underground is already dark.
how about setting the map to night?

and obviously more cover and the floor.
maybe removing the teliporters for somthing more erm slow.

adding some displacment to the map floor and such?

any views?

Not sure about the zipline, but the other idea's sounds good. Especially the crane.
I dont think the map should be dark. Maybe sunset, but not dark. Looks better bright.

sunset or dusk it is.

light shows errors :)
so dump the round towers for a base camp with 2 cranes. with a direct ladded (unrealistic)

add some cover

ie lumps of building materials add some dust decals around the area.


so oval building. the teliporters mean the cts can get to a snipe positions within 10 seconds and that seems a little quick

so going to add a reception to one door.
single room camp possibility.
disable teliporter for 30 seconds.

add a gantry around edge (with a new control room ie got (buttons and such)
maybe some sort of death accross the floor, ie press to kill no crouched enemys within center square.

alter bombsite on roof to somthing more erm fitting to industry.
probabily heli pad that has new generator ontop (still simular deisgn)

tempted to alter the lazer generator from brushes to models.(looks better)

might do some this weekend im going to nuke my main pc tho soon when iv fainally puzzled all the infomation around.

would love a bit of a test when done.

vmf are corrupt :(
just gets to 5% and stops.
anyone know a way of rescuing the files?

make a copy... then see if you can find something that looks through a file to find matching open and close curly braces { }

if you can find any of those missing, then you can probably just delete whatever object has that problem, and with some luck you might not lose too much work. You'll have to hunt down what item you deleted when you open it in hammer though, unless it happens to be something you named.

Wow... I've never seen a map go that corrupt.
I guess if you can't find a good copy (try the vtx) you could also decompile the map.

its going to be a decompile can't find anything to do with zrer in vtx got only things that sound like models
